Lisianthuses, also known as eustomas, somewhat remind of roses but are definitely a more mysterious flower. They are rich in both delicate pastel shades and vivid dark tones, making the flower a more brave choice. At FloralN5, we love compositions with lisianthuses and want you to learn more about this wonderful flower.
Where do lisianthuses come from?
According to an Indian American legend, the leader of a tribe had a young and beautiful daughter, so beautiful that the evil spirit of war fell in love with her and wanted to marry her. However, when she refused, the spirit fell into a rage, killed the girl, and destroyed her father's house.
The tribe buried the leader and his unfortunate beautiful daughter. The next day, wonderful lilac flowers, never seen before, were found on their grave. Since then, Indian Americans continue to worship eustomas for personifying the innocent soul of fallen beauty.
Main features of lisianthuses
-
Diverse colors. The flower has a wide range of colors, from delicate peach and snow-white shades to deep purple, and even different shades of green.
-
Long life. Lisianthus is a fairly long-lasting flower and can compete with chrysanthemum in resistance to the surroundings, so when choosing a bouquet with eustomas, be sure that it will delight your dearest person for at least 2 weeks.
-
Compatible with other flowers. Lisianthus goes well and gets along with many flowers of all colors because of its diverse coloring, which makes it a favorite for bridal bouquets and groom's boutonnieres.
