A Bouquet of Flowers - New Kind of Weapon?

A Bouquet of Flowers - New Kind of Weapon?

Scandals involving flowers do not end with Tulip mania and Madonna's lack of love for hydrangeas. The beautiful creatures have also been used to commit crimes, serving as the "weapon" of choice for a bank robber in a case. Let's see how the man used the bouquet to cover his true intentions!

Robbing a bank with a flower bouquet

Back in 2010, a courageous and, at the same time, an unusual bank robbery was committed in New York. The robber approached the counter with flowers, to which he had attached a note demanding the bank employee to give him the money and not to "be a hero."

To catch the criminal, police studied the composition carefully: it was established that it included gladioli, roses, and daisies. What is more, this kind of robbery was not a unique case — the man, later called a "bouquet bandit," had committed a similar crime before, however, with a flower in a pot.

As you can see, flowers are versatile in how they can be used, but we prefer to help them serve their true purpose — make people happy, not threatened. So be sure to check our FloralN5 store to get a piece of joy for your dearest person!
